Family First

Anyone who knows me knows how much I LOVE my family. They are always there and always knows what to do and say whenever I need them the most. First I'll let you all know about my dad.

My dad probably won't like that I posted this picture of him but he can't stay mad at me too long. He is one of the funniest most kind hearted people you will ever meet. People say me and my dad are a lot alike and I couldn't agree more. Whenever I have a bad game or just a bad day over all, I know that all I have to do is call my dad and he will be there to cheer me up. He always knows what to say and how to say it. I will forever be a daddy's girl.
Next up is the women herself my mom. She is definitely the most hard-working and smartest person I know. She knows how to run the show and if you get in her way it won't be good. Also she loves like nobody's business. My mom is someone who I can always count on to be there whether it's over the phone or in person, she will always know what to do. I definitely got it from my momma!
My brother or as I call him "bub" is one of the best people you'll ever meet! He can hold a conversation and connect with pretty much anyone and that is one thing I envy about him. He doesn't hold back from anything, if he has his mind set on it you can pretty much bet he'll get it. My brother is one person I know if I ever need something or if I am in trouble (and don't want dad or mom to know) he is the one to call.

My Grandma is probably the best person I have ever known. She fought through breast cancer and raised three boys when her husband passed away, so I think it's safe to say she's the toughest Grandma ever. She passed away March 12, 2012 due to Alzheimer's disease. Before she left she taught me everything I know and how to stay strong when things get tough.

Family definitely always knows best!

Introduction

Hello everyone!

My name is Nicole Brady and I am a senior at the University of Central Oklahoma. I currently play softball for UCO and am a professional media major.

This blog is about what is going on in the health/fitness world and also a little bit about myself. The number one thing in my life is my family, when you here about me you'll probably be hearing about them too.

I have been around sports and fitness my whole life so that is all I have ever really known growing up. I want people who aren't able to go to a sporting event to be able to read about it and feel like they were really there.

Fitness has always been a big part of my life. Playing softball in college really made me realize how important fitness is. My coaches and trainers have always lectured us on how to workout and eat properly, and I want people to know exactly how important fitness and health is in their life.
